TRANSLATION:
The Big Brush Club was initially offered to children living in areas with the greatest tooth decay across the South West, but it will now be provided all over Cornwall.
The aim of the programme is for every child between three and five to brush their teeth twice daily.
The NHS-commissioned programme encourages better oral health. Teachers deliver short, daily toothbrushing sessions for pupils, alongside lessons in self-care, healthy eating and sugar reduction.
According to a 2022 government study, almost one fifth of five-year-olds in the South West have tooth decay, despite it being largely preventable.

TRANSLATION
Lee Nuttall was on holiday in West Cornwall, when he managed to take the pictures at Porthgwarra beach near Penzance.
He said he spent time researching the location before waiting for a clear night and a new moon.
Most of all, he said, he was helped by the light pollution-free skies over west Cornwall.
"It's one of the darkest places in the UK," Mr Nuttall said.
"There's just nothing there - it's just blackness, you know, once you look out to sea.
"And, the Milky Way looks fantastic.
"A lot of people say that you have quite a lot of cloudy skies and a bit of rain in Cornwall, so it's quite a rarity to get clear skies especially.
"I had three nights in a row while I was down there, so it was a bit of a bonus really."

TRANSLATION
A celebration event was held last Saturday at Penzance's Jubilee Pool, which first opened its gates in May 1935 as part of King George V's Silver Jubilee.
During the event, people were encouraged to wear vintage swimwear at the pool - which is Britain's largest seawater lido - and a group of 90 swimmers jumped into the water all at once to mark the occasion.
Nicola Murdoch, the pool's chief executive, said it was an honour to be able to celebrate the milestone.
She said it was a special day at the pool, with other activities at the party including surfing and water polo demonstrations and live music.
