'Feel the fear and do it anyway'
Shrewsbury writer Claire Brown found writing whilst being sectioned, and says she's since found audiences of thousands in person and online, taking solace in her work covering topics including mental health and sexual assault.
Claire tells Lizzie Crow how poetry helps her understand her own brain, as someone diagnosed as bipolar, and processing her own trauma, reading back her work when she is feeling low.
You can regularly find her at the open mic events in Shrewsbury, on the first Monday of every month.
