'I was in denial about having Multiple Sclerosis' - Olympic sprinter.
Olympic medallist champion Lina Nielsen was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when she was 17.
In 2022 she decided to talk about her condition publicly, after she had a relapse just before the World Athletics Championships.
Speaking to 5 Live Breakfast’s Rick Edwards, she said "for a long time I was very much in denial, I thought this can't be attached to me".
Lina is campaigning for more awareness of the symptoms of the disease that often go unnoticed, such as fatigue and bladder control issues.
