A roman column unearthed in Carlisle
A large Roman column has been unearthed at an archaeological dig in Cumbria. Discovered at the site of a Roman bathhouse on the grounds of Carlisle Cricket Club, it is believed to be one of the most significant finds at the site to date. Frank Giecco, site director for the Roman dig at Carlisle Cricket Club shows Mike Zeller some of the objects that’ve been found.
