Leasowe: plans for oldest brick-built lighthouse
Leasowe Lighthouse in Wirral is the oldest brick-built lighthouse in Britain.
The building stands on the shore of Leasowe Common on the peninsula.
Built in 1763, the lighthouse stands 110 feet high and is a Grade II Listed building.
It's now set for a major renovation project.
