Skelton boy wins competition to create 'dream bestie'
An 11-year-old boy from Skelton who has a rare form of cancer, has won a competition to have his dream toy made and sold to raise money for charity.
Spencer was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia when he was six.
He's the winner of Cancer Support UK's national Create your Dream Bestie competition, where children were invited to draw and enter a picture of their dream best friend.
He designed Bat Cat, a superhero teddy for children to cuddle while having treatment to make them feel better.
Spencer and his mum Karen have been chatting to our reporter Claudia Robinson
