Does iconic Southend building have a future?
The Kursaal in Southend is one of Southend’s most iconic buildings, and now sits largely unused.
Opened in 1901 as the world's first purpose-built amusement parks, it later hosted concerts by Rod Stewart and Queen.
But there are fresh hopes that the Kursaal may have a future, with the local MP confident it can be brought back into use.
