Some vets and animal charities have told the 蜜芽传媒 an increasing number of pet owners are having their sick animals put down, or delaying taking them for treatment, to avoid spiralling bills.
However, the British Veterinary Association says the fees reflect the prices businesses needed to charge to remain financially viable and open.
