It's the time of the year where proms are taking place across the region.

A teacher from Solihull has set up a charity to ensure that all students can afford to go.

Stefanie Lakin set up the charity Madrina in 2022 and has given out almost 1,000 free dresses and has earned herself the title of the West Midlands' fairy godmother.

Katherine Merry spoke to Stefanie to find out more about why she started this charity.
