Crosby's Iron Men turn 20
20 years, 100 iron men on Crosby Beach, forming Antony Gormley’s iconic installation Another Place—places of play, reflection, and community connection. Originally brought to the Sefton coast in 2005 as part of the Liverpool Biennial, Another Place was meant to explore themes of time, nature, and human presence. But over the last 20 years, these iron men have become something far more meaningful to the people of Merseyside.
