Leicester school swaps hopscotch for sandcastles
A Leicester school has found a novel way of making the most of the hot weather.
Teachers at St John the Baptist School in Clarendon Park have created a beach scene complete with a caravan .
Staff say swapping the hopscotch for sandcastles is helping children make the most of their playtime, which in turn helps pupils concentrate more in class.
