Formula One medic's fond memories of working in Stoke
Dr Ian Roberts is Formula One's chief medical officer, ready to respond to accidents on the track. But before motorsport medicine, he worked at North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary and City General Hospital, and completed a Master of Medical Sciences degree with Keele University.
