Do you know Arthur Simms from Rupert Street?
A bundle of love letters written by a man called Arthur Simms to Janet Millington in 1962 have been fished out of a canal in Birmingham.
At the time, Arthur lived on Rupert Street in Nottingham, and Janet lived in Hemel Hempstead.
They were found by Shirley Elmore and her son, who were magnet fishing. They found the letters wrapped in a blue ribbon, and want to return them to Arthur or Janet, or their families.
