As Rachel Reeves began crying in the Commons yesterday it became apparent the Bond markets were very upset too.
The yield on 10-year government bonds or gilts shot up - the biggest jump in a day since Liz Truss was in No 10. They only came down when the PM insisted that the Chancellor would be staying.
But how long might the Chancellor be staying? And how is she now expecting to find the funds to plug the deficit?
