The Leicester tennis player that made history
Twenty years ago Leicester sportsman Jayant Mistry made tennis history.
In 2005 Jayant became the first British player to win the wheelchair men’s doubles title at Wimbledon, and the first British man to win any men’s title there since Fred Perry in 1936.
Jayant’s career in tennis did not end when he stopped playing. He was wheelchair tennis manager at the London 2012 Paralympic Games, and also continued to coach and now commentates at Wimbledon.
Jayant took time between commentating at this year's tournament to speak to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Leicester's Laurie Dyche.
