Boat owners could be trapped for months
The locks at Gargrave, near Skipton, and the Bingley Five Rise Locks on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, are closed due to a lack of water, leaving boat-dwellers stranded between those points.
The Canal and River Trust have announced that all its locks on the Leeds Liverpool Canal will be closed until water levels improve.
The ѿý 's Olivia Richwald speaks to boat owners and businesses that are stranded on a 17-mile stretch of drought-affected canal.
