'Aerial dance changed everything for the better'
From a single A-Level to PhD, Colwall's Giselle Pearson has been named her university's student of the year. The sport took her through a period of challenging mental health, and during her time at Keele University, she set up an aerial dance society, which now has over 100 members.
She tells ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Hereford & Worcester's Bethany Gwilliam how finding dancing completely changed her life, giving her confidence and finding several new families.
Giselle is going on to study for a doctorate in computer science, and has her eyes on several aerial dance competitions in her own right.
