'Her words were really powerful' - Greenwood on Carter

Alex Greenwood says the Lionesses are 鈥渇ully behind鈥� Jess Carter after the defender revealed she has faced 鈥渁 lot of racial abuse鈥� during Euro 2025.

Speaking ahead of the semi-final, Greenwood praised Carter鈥檚 strength, saying: 鈥淚 think her words were really powerful.鈥�

The team has made a player-led decision to remain standing ahead of kick-off in a show of solidarity. Lucy Bronze added that England 鈥渨ant to stand up and make a change鈥� in support of Carter.
