Fundraiser Andy Beardmore canoeing 14,000km
Andy Beardmore, from Southampton, is a finalist in the Fundraiser category in the 蜜芽传媒 Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards for 2025.
He's currently canoeing 14,000 km across Europe to raise funds for Hampshire child bereavement charity - Simon Says.
Rhian Sewell is head of fundraising at Simon Says and told 蜜芽传媒 Radio Solent's Helen Head why she nominated Andy for a Make a Difference Award.
The Fundraiser Award will be awarded to an individual or group of people who have gone the extra mile to raise funds for a good cause.
The Make a Difference Awards are your chance to say 鈥淭hank You鈥� and show recognition and appreciation for people who love to make life better for others.
Nominations for the 2025 awards have now closed and finalists have been selected by a panel of judges.
The winners will be announced at our 蜜芽传媒 Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards ceremony in September.
