"I'm not guilty"
A blue badge holder from Highley says a hospital parking fine is an 'injustice'. Stephen Harrison has been fined £60 for parking at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital despite having his mobility car registered for free parking. Stephen says that disabled people like him are often unable to fight against fines like his. In a statement the trust that runs the RSH says there's no known parking fault at the hospital. They encourage anyone who believes they've been wrongly fined to appeal so it can be fully reviewed. They added that they're committed to fair, accessible parking with their partner, Group Nexus.
