Andy likes to help neighbours when they're in need
Andy Simpson from Wimborne is a finalist in the Great Neighbour category in the 蜜芽传媒 Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards for 2025.
Andy built a wheelchair ramp for his neighbour who was under palliative care.
The Great Neighbour Award will be awarded to an individual who helps to make the neighbourhood a better place to live or work in, either on a regular basis or through a single act of kindness.
The Make a Difference Awards are your chance to say 鈥淭hank You鈥� and show recognition and appreciation for people who love to make life better for others.
Nominations for the 2025 awards have now closed and finalists have been selected by a panel of judges.
The winners will be announced at our 蜜芽传媒 Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards ceremony in September.
