Bewdley Bridge: All's well that ends well?
After two years of flood defence works, the bridge is open again to two-way traffic. Residents and traders say the re-opening couldn't come soon enough.
Hossey Saghri from The Mug House says the near two-year closure of the bridge, and the diversions that came from it, caused a 35% fall in takings.
Wyre Forest MP Mark Garnier tells Tammy Gooding how much the works mean to the town, and how much work has gone in to protecting the River Severn's east bank, which has involved huge discussions with The Treasury. He says the foundations of the flood defences, with the Environment Agency, go down 14m below ground level.
