Saree shop announces closure after 58 years
The owners of a saree shop in Leicester have announced they are closing after more than 50 years in business.
The team behind Anokhi House of Sarees in Belgrave Road said the store was "not just a shop, but a sanctuary where tradition, love, and community came alive every single day".
As well as providing sarees for more than half a century, the store became well known for its window decorations to celebrate Diwali.
Anokhi House of Sarees owner Karan Shadha spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Leicester's Ben Jackson.
