Remembering Chadds: Hereford's department store
The family-run shop at 41 Commercial Street opened in October 1929 by Mr W. A. Chadd, before closing in 2008.
Helen Parry shares with Tammy Gooding what it was like to work at the store, with a great working culture where management supported staff at all levels. Nine members of the team, from owners to Saturday-only workers, even appeared on a special of The Weakest Link in 2003!
