‘It’s a sucker punch at the end’
Worcester City manager Chris Cornes is philosophical after their first game at Sixways, with a late goal seeing City fall to a 1-0 defeat to Quorn.
He tells Steve Carley how the squad just weren't able to take charge of the moments at the end of the game. But he says with six new signings on the day's teamsheets, he was 'pleasantly pleased', and hopes to bring energy to keep the crowds up in the club's new home.
