Body Image, Job Interviews and Farmer Tom
Tom Grennan and Roman Kemp open up about body image pressures, insecurities and therapy. They also swap first job stories, from Roman’s modeling to Tom helping a pig give birth.
This episode of the podcast discusses body image and weight loss. If you or someone you know is in need of help, you can find links to organisations who can provide help and support at www.bbc.co.uk/actionline.
Tom Grennan and Roman Kemp are back and this week the boys are discussing body image. They open up to each other about the insecurities they feel about the way they look, and discuss the pressures to look a certain way that can be felt by people in the public eye. And Tom shares with Roman about his body dysmorphia, therapy and how much of his time is taken up worrying about how he looks.
They also chat about job interviews and first jobs. We discover that Roman had a stint as a model! And that Tom has had the most eclectic range of jobs - he was a farmer (helped a pig give birth, as you do!), he also worked in Topman, Costa, on a building site, washing pots and… at a Bridge Club!?
And Roman might finally ask Tom what it’s like in rehearsals…
