Waste dumped and set on fire in Bucks village
Sherington resident, “Lucy” (not her real name) has “huge concerns”. She spoke to Miles Blumsom. Police said a 40-year-old man from Sherington had been arrested "on suspicion of depositing controlled waste on land where there was no environment permit". The force added that he had also been arrested on suspicion of "keeping, treating or disposing of controlled waste in a manner likely to cause pollution to the environment or harm to human health". He has been released on bail while investigations, led by the Environment Agency, continue.
