Reform UK confirm new deputy county council leader
Two new councillors have been appointed to Leicestershire County Council's cabinet after the authority's former deputy leader was removed from his role.
Reform UK's Joseph Boam was also removed from his position as cabinet member for adult social care. The 22-year-old was one of 25 Reform councillors elected to the authority in May's local elections.
So what will this mean for the future of the county council? Leader Dan Harrison explained more to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Leicester's Ben Jackson.
Joseph Boam has since commented: 'I did not agree to be removed and the role was not “too much “ for me.'
