Good morning. The famous Cornish film director, Mark Jenkin, has completed his third film, Rose of Nevada, and it鈥檚 a mystery drama about a fishing boat which is lost at sea with all hands.
Mark won a Bafta with his first film, Bait, and his next film, Enys Men, was also a great success.
Mark had not planned to make a film with boats again because the state of the sea and the tide is always changing. Nevertheless, Rose of Nevada was filmed in Mullion, and it鈥檚 his biggest film yet, employing a crew of more than 140 people.
The film will be shown for the first time tomorrow at the Venice International Film Festival, and it鈥檚 expected to be ready for release in the UK by the beginning of 2026.

A new partnership in Cornwall wants to give disabled people opportunities to learn how to fly aeroplanes.
Flynqy Pilot Training, Aerobility and Newquay Airport are working together to create a "hub for accessible flight training, trial flights, and aviation experiences for the disabled community in the South West".
Flynqy Pilot Training is based at Newquay Airport, and it has adapted some of its planes so that people with differently shaped limbs or reduced mobility can learn to fly them.
A spokesperson for Aerobility said that its staff would receive special training to ensure that disabled people could board its planes in a 鈥渟afe and dignified鈥 manner.
Chief flying instructor, Al Rosser, said, "We're really excited to help make aviation accessible to people living with a disability in the South West."

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of Forest for Cornwall, the theatre company Squashbox Theatre has organised two special performances of its show Tales from the Trees.
Over the last five years, Forest for Cornwall has helped plant 1.6 million trees in more than 1,000 different locations across Cornwall.
The shows make use of puppets, stories, live music and comedy to explain to children and their families the importance of trees in the natural world.
The show will be performed next Monday at the Killacourt, Newquay, between 11.00 and midday, or you can see it at Camborne Library on September 27th. The performances will be free, but it will be necessary to book.
