Amazing wildlife photos compete for top prize
A primary schoolgirl whose picture of a rutting stag in Bradgate Park was highly commended in a major photography competition has told us how nature's inspired her.
Jamie Smart took the picture during a two day photography trip to the park which she'd won in another contest.
The image has been highly commended in the under-10s category of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition and will now go on display at the Natural History Museum. This year, a record-breaking 60,000 pictures were entered. A team of experts in photography, filmmaking, conservation, and science are picking their favourites.
Jamie told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Leicester's Ady Dayman about the circumstances which led to the moment caught on camera.
