After months of debate about whether mobile phones should be banned in schools, a powerful new voice has joined the conversation. Esther Ghey, the mother of murdered Warrington teenager Brianna Ghey, is calling for a nationwide ban on phones during the school day.
She says harmful content consumed in classrooms was a factor in her daughter’s life and argues that removing phones will safeguard children, reduce harmful influences, and improve behaviour in schools. Speaking to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s Jayne McCubbin, she urges urgent action to protect young people across the UK.
