May your local fire station become a coworking space?
This Summer has seen long dry and hot spells of weather and as a result Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service have attended a number of heath fires. Two large fires; Studland and Holt Heath kept them particularly busy. They needed to bring in fire crews from other parts of the country to bring both those fires under control and put them out.
The Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service are now recruiting more on call firefighters and Dave Adamson, Group Manager, suggested that local fire stations could be used as a convenient coworking space for on-call recruits.
Dave spoke to Steve Harris on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent.
