Worcestershire footballer's plea hits Parliament
Former Bromsgrove Sporting player Chris Bright says only four out of 184 sports governing bodies have a policy for diabetes, and that there are still barriers which prevent people from the condition getting involved in sport.
The issue, which the Redditch former semi-pro has campaigned on for years, was raised in the House of Commons by Redditch MP Chris Bloore.
Chris tells Tammy Gooding how 'surreal' that was.
Also hear from Anne-Louise from Bromsgrove, whose daughter Caitlin Pridden is a sports fanatic who lives with Type 1 diabetes, and shares how the condition affects her.
