9/11: Remembering Hayle's Rick Rescorla
Rick Rescorla was a security worker originally from Hayle, who led 2,500 people to safety during the attacks in 2001. The 62 year old was head of security for Morgan Stanley, a bank based in the South Tower.
After saving people from the building, he returned inside to make sure everybody was out. His body was never found.
Julie Skentelbery has been talking to Trevor Smitheram from Hayle about the memorial event.
