Albion marked the 125th anniversary of The Hawthorns when they hosted Derby County.

Albion marked the 125th anniversary of The Hawthorns when they hosted Derby County. The Rams were their first opponents when the stadium opened in September 1900, so the Baggies requested to play them as part of the celebrations.

The game itself ended in a 1-0 defeat but there was a carnival atmosphere before the match with Victorian themed activities in the fan zone, Baggies legend Tony 'Bomber' Brown presented the match ball before the game and a brass band was playing as the two teams entered the field. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio WM's Albion reporter Steve Hermon described the scenes for us.
