Alwyn has been involved in coordinating and playing walking football at Coventry & District Walking Football Club for years. He identified that there were no walking football clubs for women in the local area and decided to form one himself. Since the inception of the group, it has grown and become more than just a place to be active; they now hold social sessions, which have helped build friendships and community outside of walking football.
