In the early 70s, Debbie Gayle was a promising ballerina chosen to train in the Soviet Union. After a near-deadly turn, she escaped thanks to Natasha, whom she never saw again. Fifty years later, Debbie's son, journalist and podcaster Jake Warren, sets out to understand his mum's past and find the woman who saved her.
