Dorset man in Freedom Flotilla bound for Gaza
Louie Findlater from Poole is travelling with other humanitarian volunteers in the Sumud Freedom Flotilla bound for Gaza. Their mission is to establish an aid corridor via sea for the people of Gaza.
Poole MP Neil Duncan-Jordan wrote to the UK Foreign Secretary, Yvette Cooper, urging her to take diplomatic steps to protect the humanitarian volunteers aboard the flotilla, including his constituent.
Israeli forces have attacked the flotilla, and a statement from the Israeli government says the mission is supporting Hamas and is illegal.
