56. Vince Casey and Brummies in Ambridge

Emma Freud meets Vince Casey, played by Tony Turner, to reflect on his fearless approach to Ambridge life, along with director Julie Beckett and broadcaster and fan Andrew Peach.

Emma Freud meets Vince Casey, played by Tony Turner, who reveals that he originally auditioned to play another key Ambridge role - and didn't get it. They discuss Vince's fearless approach to village life, his success in the meat business, his love for Elizabeth and whether he'd rather sit through one of Lynda's shows or a DJ set by Freddie.

Tony is joined by fellow West Midlanders Julie Beckett, long-time Archers director and producer, and Andrew Peach, broadcaster and Archers fanatic, to examine how characters from Birmingham, such as Jack Woolley and Sid Perks, have made such an impact in Ambridge over the decades.

Presenter: Emma Freud
