Ikeme: 'Wolves just felt the right fit for me'
Carl Ikeme's route to becoming Wolves number one took a few detours before the Molineux.
After some in the academy set up of with West Midlands rivals Aston Villa, Carl Ikeme decided to leave in hopes of finding his happy place in football.
In a twist of fate moment, Carl turned up for trials for Wolves that he wasn't invited to. The club liked what they witnessed and signed him up.
It's safe to say Carl Ikeme's route to becoming Wolves number one took a few detours before the Molineux.
