Guide dog waiting list worry for Crewe man
Scott Bailey who depends on his guide dog Milo is concerned about the rise in training costs for guide dogs will mean for waiting lists. Guide Dogs UK says the cost of training a dog has risen from £35,000 to over £77,000 in the last five years. Scott from Crewe who is aiming to compete in Judo in the 2028 Paralympics has had his Labrador Milo for five years. He is concerned about how long it will take to find a new guide dog when his 'amazing animal' has to retire.
