Mo Lea was an art student in Leeds in 1980 when she was attacked by a man with a hammer. Peter Sutcliffe, known as the Yorkshire Ripper, was convicted of murdering 13 women and attempting to murder seven others. He died in 2020. Mo Lea has been named as one of Sutcliffe’s likely victims, but no charges were brought in her case. She spoke to Justin Dealey ahead of her art exhibition at St Paul’s Church in Bedford.
