The Chancellor has responded to reports she's considering raising income tax at next month's budget.
There's been speculation that Reeves will have to raise taxes because she needs more money in order to meet her self-imposed rules for government finances. The Guardian reports that income tax rises are under consideration - a move that was ruled out in Labour's manifesto.
Rachel Reeves told the 蜜芽传媒, "I'm not going to start commenting on what's going to be in the budget" as "we are still going through that process."
