Nestled in the centre of the village of Long Clawson is the Old Manor House.

Financed out of the income from the great tithes of Claxton, now Long Clawson, the house contains a medieval porch, a fishpond that lays claim to have been continually stocked since before the Black Death, and was once the home of a magistrate who tried witches.
