Lincolnshire's Gunpowder Plot connection

They were real-life Traitors - and two of the plotters in the audacious but failed bid to blow up Parliament in 1605 came from Lincolnshire.

It's one of the most famous events in British history - the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605 which attempted to kill King James I by blowing up the Houses of Parliament.
While Guy Fawkes is the best-known of the plotters two of his friends, John and Christopher Wright were also involved, with John's north Lincolnshire home also connected to the conspiracy.
