Dragon boats help support breast cancer recovery
Plans are afoot to bring dragon boat racing to the banks of the Humber and it is all to help people recover from breast cancer. There is a huge international movement of dragon boat paddling for breast surgery rehab but there is nowhere local try it out. Tasked by a doctor at Castle Hill Hospital, the charity Fitmums & Friends has taken on the challenge to try and make it happen. Amanda White went along to their first ever taster session at Welton Waters to see what happened.
