2025 marks the 85th anniversary of the Coventry Blitz. The air-raid named Operation Sonata by the Germans killed 554 people on November 14th 1940, but the real figure could have been much higher with many people unaccounted for. Stuart Green’s dad Alan Green was in RAF training in Devon when the city was bombed. Stuart has a letter his father wrote back to his family in Coventry.
