New figures show that romance fraud is up 19% in the first six months of 2025 resulting over 拢20 million being stolen. Former detective Marc Cananur joins us to share how targets are convinced to make payments. Cecilie Fjellh酶y, who featured on the Netflix show The Tinder Swindler explains the impact of the fraud and says she was tricked into handing over 拢200,000.
