Swiss women stage national strike for equality

Swiss women are striking today in favour of "more time, more pay, more respect".

Swiss women are striking today in favour of "more time, more pay, more respect". We talk to Celine Renaud, a Swiss businesswoman who quit her job and set up her own company, when she found out a male colleague doing the same work at the same level was being paid more. And we find out more about the level of gender disparity in the country from Adele Thorens, a member of the Swiss Parliament for the Green Party. Also in the programme, an economist at UBS has been put on leave after sparking controversy in China by commenting on Chinese pigs with swine fever, though many are puzzled as to what exactly was wrong with what he said. Plus our reporter in California explains how the ongoing trade war between the US and China is posing a significant challenge for American winemakers. And we'll have our regular look at the US markets with Chris Low of FTN Financial in New York.
