Coronavirus Conversations: Hairdresser jailed for defying lockdown
We speak to a Texan woman who was jailed for opening her salon.
Shelley Luther was jailed for illegally re-opening her hair salon in Dallas during coronavirus restrictions. She was subsequently released and her case and actions have made her a celebrity among those who reject lockdown, while others have questioned whether it is a political stunt. We discuss all of this with Shelley.
Dr Natalie Dean from University of Florida will help us with questions about the virus. We discuss antibody tests and an inflammatory disease that can affect children. The latest research from Italy links it to Covid-19.
And we hear from stunned residents in a Cairo neighbourhood in Egypt, where a bridge was built so close to apartments that people can touch it from their balconies.
